Kurt Busch Visits Haas Automation
On Thursday March 20, NASCAR Sprint Cup Driver Kurt Busch visited Haas Automation, Inc. in Oxnard for lunch and a tour of the factory with company owner Gene Haas and General Manager Bob Murray. Busch is the newest driver for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) and was in the area on “business” – he piloted the No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS to a 3rd-place finish in the Auto Club 400 race in Fontana on Sunday.
Gene Haas, owner of Haas Automation, the largest machine tool builder in the Western World, also co-owns Stewart-Haas Racing. Haas Automation is Kurt Busch’s primary sponsor for 2014. After his visit, Busch commented about the experience on Twitter: “The boss gave me a tour of Haas Automation today. What an impressive place & awesome employees. Gene is very hands-on.”
