In four full seasons of Formula One competition, Romain Grosjean has continued to showcase the speed and consistency that was a hallmark of his highly decorated junior career. Collecting championships and numerous race wins as he ascended Europe’s ultra-competitive open-wheel racing ladder, Grosjean’s talents have continued to impress with the Frenchman joining Haas F1 Team in 2016.
Competing in Formula One full-time since 2012 with Lotus F1 Team, Grosjean has scored 10 podiums, twice finishing a career-best second – the 2012 Canadian Grand Prix and the 2013 United States Grand Prix.
With back-to-back top-10 finishes inside the championship standings in 2012 and 2013, Grosjean proved he was capable of mixing it up with the established talents in Formula One, building on the promise of his earlier career and quickly earning a strong reputation in the sport.
Born into a racing family in 1992, Kevin Magnussen is being welcomed into another racing family in 2017. The native of Roskilde, Denmark, and the son of former Formula One driver and current sportscar racer Jan Magnussen is now a member of Haas F1 Team.
Magnussen joins the American outfit for his third full season competing in the FIA Formula One World Championship. Having previously driven for established marques McLaren and Renault Sport, Magnussen now competes alongside Formula One veteran Romain Grosjean at Haas F1 Team.
Magnussen made his Formula One debut with McLaren in 2014, scoring an impressive second-place finish in the season-opening Australian Grand Prix. He became the first Formula One rookie to deliver a podium finish in his debut race since Lewis Hamilton achieved the feat, also with McLaren, at the 2007 Australian Grand Prix. Eleven more point-paying finishes followed, allowing Magnussen to finish a respectable 11th in the championship standings.
